Christmas can be a stressful and isolating time for anyone managing IBS and food intolerances, but it doesn’t have to mean missing out on festive feasting. To make your holiday season brighter and your gut happier, we’ve created a low FODMAP Christmas menu just for you! With these delicious and gut-friendly options, you can savour the joy of Christmas without the stress!
Entree:
- Caprese Skewers: Cherry tomatoes (5 medium for a low FODMAP serve), fresh mozzarella balls, fresh basil leaves, balsamic vinegar.
- Cheese Board: Low lactose cheeses such as gruyere, brie and goats cheese, sliced cured meats (prosciutto, salami), olives, fresh fruit (grapes, strawberries, raspberries or kiwifruit), gluten-free crackers.

Main:
- Herb-Crusted Roast Lamb: seasoned with fresh rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper, and drizzled with garlic-infused olive oil.
- Baked Maple Cajun Salmon with Herby Dressing – recipe here

Sides:
- Potato Salad: Baby potatoes boiled and mixed with a creamy dressing made from lactose-free yogurt or mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chives, and lemon juice. A sprinkle of fresh parsley for garnish.

- Spiced Carrots and Parsnips with Mint Yoghurt Dressing – recipe here
- Spiced Pumpkin and Lentil Pomegranate Salad with Maple Lemon Dressing – recipe here
- Green Beans with Toasted Almonds: Steamed green beans tossed with toasted sliced almonds and drizzled with a little olive oil and lemon juice (15 green beans for a low FODMAP serve).
- Cabbage & Fennel Slaw: Thinly sliced cabbage and fennel, tossed in a tangy dressing made with apple cider vinegar, a pinch of mustard powder, and olive oil.
